The Mission of Gideon's Task Force (GTF) is two fold:
1. To conduct seminars for qualified and electible
pro-life/pro family individuals regardless of political party and their "kitchen cabinet" who are willing to campaign
for legislative office in Maryland .
2. To mobilize
and train people, who respect life issues and support family values, in every precinct in Maryland and are willing to educate
voters, register new voters and use successfully proven political activities up to and on election day (and beyond)
which will result in the election of the pro-life/pro-family candidates.

 |
Now is the time to encourage qualified pro-life/pro-family candidates to begin planning a strategy
to run for public office in 2008 and 2010.
A good start would be to select a pro-life Presidential candidate and work for them
in your legislative district.

WHY THE NEED FOR GIDEON'S TASK FORCE:
- Successful statewide campaigns cost millions of dollars and congressional
and legislative district campaigns can cost thousands.
- In every political campaign, there are two important ingredients
people and money. The basis of GTF's Mission and Strategy is to recruit and train people who will be the political muscle
that every campaign needs because People + Money = Success
- Our experience has been that pro-life/pro-family candidates receive
very little free support from the mass media outlets, and so it is necessary that other tactics and strategies have to be
employed to compensate for this disadvantage which will encourage qualified pro-life/pro-family candidates to run for office.
- Finally, there is a contrived myth that most people who vote are
not pro-life, but when the positions and proposed legislation of the pro-life/pro-family movement are presented in a
fair and balanced way, people overwhelmingly support
those positions, such as, parental notification of minors seeking an abortion.
